Writer
Roman writes old-school crime stories set today, with innovative twists and fresh perspectives. In his work you’ll see pulpy dime novels and swashbuckling adventures grave robbed from obscurity and infused with a modern sensibility, “in the best of ways.” (Quote courtesy of his mother.)
Last year Loose Teeth achieved several notable festival awards, including Finalist at the Big Apple Film Festival, Semifinalist at the Southern California Screenplay Competition, and Quarterfinalist at both the Los Angeles Screenplay Awards and Emerging Screenwriters Screenplay Competition.
Loose Teeth marks Roman’s fourth feature screenplay, with his fifth script Key Lime hitting the festival circuit later this year. Loose Teeth has been advised and consulted by Roman’s writing mentor Topper Lillien, the acclaimed screenwriter of the 2014 film Low Down.
